Privacy & cookie policy

Last updated: August 2026

GEOMAC B.V. respects your privacy and handles your personal data with care, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This page explains which data we process and why.

Who we are

GEOMAC B.V., Oudendijk 22, 6744 PV Ederveen, the Netherlands. Chamber of Commerce 42038003. Contact: info@geomac.nl, +31 (0)318 74 34 25.

Which data we process

When you use the contact form or email us, we process the data you provide to us yourself:

  • Name and (if provided) company name
  • Email address and phone number
  • The content of your message

What we use your data for

We use your data solely to answer your request or question, to follow up on a quote or demonstration and, where applicable, to perform an agreement. The legal basis for this is your consent and/or the performance of an agreement. We never sell your data to third parties.

Who we share data with (processors)

We never sell your data. To run this website and our email, we do rely on service providers (processors):

  • Web3Forms handles the technical delivery of the contact form: your input is delivered to us as email via their service.
  • Microsoft 365 provides our business email; messages to info@geomac.nl arrive there.
  • Cloudflare hosts this website and, like any hosting party, briefly processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver and secure the site.

Retention period

We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purposes stated above or for as long as legally required.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies of its own and no third-party tracking or marketing cookies. We only use storage in your browser that does not outlive this one visit: your choice in the notice at the bottom of the site, which site or campaign you arrived from, and a visit number. That visit number is a random figure we attach to your events so we can see which pages lead to an enquiry. It says nothing about you, we do not link it to your name or your enquiry, and it disappears as soon as you close the tab — if you return later you get a different number and we do not recognise you.

For visitor statistics we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: it works without cookies, without device fingerprints and without profiles, and provides us only with aggregated figures (such as page views). In addition, we record a limited set of events on our own server to see what works on the site: a page view, sending the contact form, starting the video, a click on our phone number or email address, a click to another page, to a request page or to an external site, opening the menu or a photo, a language switch, how far down a page you read, and how many seconds that page was visible. We store only the event itself, the page, the language, the country, the origin and the visit number mentioned above — no cookie, no IP address and nothing that traces back to you as a person. The visit number links the events of a single visit to one another; it goes no further.

These events are sent by your browser. If you block them, or do not allow JavaScript, nothing reaches us and the site keeps working as normal. Independently of that, our server does count how often each page is requested — the same thing an ordinary server log does. For that we record the page, the language, the country, the referring domain and any campaign, without a cookie, without an IP address and without a visit number. Such a count therefore stands on its own and cannot be linked to you or to your other events.

When you play the embedded video (YouTube), YouTube may place cookies; the privacy policy of YouTube/Google applies to this.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or have your personal data deleted. You may also object to the processing. To do so, please contact us at info@geomac.nl. If you are not satisfied, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
